This is great, though I’m having a little trouble visualizing (no shutters around here). Is that part of the shutter concealed when installed, so only the next person to remove them would see the message?

That style of shutter is decorative/nonfunctional . It gets screwed on next to the window, so the drawing will be on the back, up against the siding

That’s a good point. Because.....

I’ll probably be here in 10 years when they’re replaced again.

If I’m not, the new homeowners probably won’t know who it is. Much like anyone under 30 knowing who this is.
